Speakers will focus on the different types of therapeutic support services can provide and the benefits this can have in meeting carers needs and enabling carers to meet the increasingly complex needs of children in care. The importance of providing therapeutic support to carers, as the most crucial people in supporting children with the trauma they have experienced will be highlighted and discussed. The impact this has on carer retainment will be highlighted throughout the webinar and there will opportunity for a Q and A session.
The annual practice forum for Fostering Panel Chairs and Fostering Panel Advisors is being held on 9 November at 9.30am - 12pm, online via Zoom. This event, the first of its kind, is jointly hosted by CoramBAAF and The Fostering Network.

Our breakout discussions for the day are an opportunity to discuss the key challenges, what is working well and what needs to improve in your practice. It is also an opportunity to listen to the experience of Fostering Panel Chairs and Advisors from across the UK.
This webinar will look at long term savings for children and young people in care. It will bring together a range of speakers including ShareFound, Become and representatives from fostering services who will share perspectives and best practice.
It will allow attendees the opportunity to explore trends in policy and practice across the sector.
There will be opportunity for a Q&A session during the webinar.

Based on a sample of almost 15 thousand teens, this session led by Adrienne Katz explores how children with different offline vulnerabilities or adverse experiences describe their online lives in relation to risks encountered and also, how the digital environment represents a refuge for teens ‘to escape my issues’.

The symptoms of menopause are described as being experienced by women of any nationality and by any person subject to those specific hormonal changes which includes some non-binary or transgender foster carers.
