Ahead of the upcoming general election, The Fostering Network have launched our 2024 manifesto! We are calling on political parties to take bold and urgent action through focusing on care experienced children and young people, supporting the foster carer workforce, and investing in and reforming the wider system supporting care experienced children and young people.

Our #TickTheBox campaign encourages people with care experience to tick the box on their UCAS application to say they have spent time in care when they are applying for further and higher education. This will ensure they get all the support they may need to enter and thrive at college or university. This year, the campaign will be running during care leavers week from 21-27 October 2024.
