We are delighted to announce that The Fostering Network, as the UK’s leading fostering charity, has become an official conference partner for the IFCO European Conference taking place from 1 to 4 September 2016.

The International Foster Care Organisation (IFCO) is an international network dedicated solely to the promotion and support of family based foster care across the world. The aim of the conference is to create an equal platform for all stakeholders including foster parents, foster families, children in foster care, care leavers, birth families, social workers, professionals, academics, policy makers and all who are interested in family-based care to share and understand their role and responsibilities in supporting children in care and care leavers.

The theme of the conference this year is ‘Pathways: A lifelong understanding of education, trauma, intervention and success’ and speakers from The Fostering Network will be discussing our recent work in education.
