This practical workshop is aimed at foster carers of children attending primary school. This workshop will look the importance of play that supports connection and safety, based on trauma informed practice. The workshop will explore the importance of attachment play to support the foster carer and child, as well as teacher and child relationships through creative and sensory based play activities.
Throughout this practical session, foster and kinship foster carers will have the opportunity to explore mindful activities and play to help children co-regulate and build strategies to support children looked after within a caring environment
