Resources for services

Foster Care Fortnight resources for services

There are lots of ways that your fostering service can get involved in Foster Care Fortnight™ - and it’s a fantastic way to tell your local community about the difference that fostering makes and the need for more foster carers.

Please note: Foster Care Fortnight is trademarked, so please make sure you use the correct name (not, for example, Fostering Fortnight).

Print our placards

Print the placard at home and write in your community highlights. Take a photo and share on social media! Don't forget to tag us in @thefosteringnetwork (@fosteringnet on X) and use the hashtag #FCF25

Update your social media headers

Update your social media headers during Foster Care Fortnight to spread awareness.

Engaging the media during Foster Care Fortnight

As Foster Care Fortnight approaches, we know lots of media outlets will be getting in touch with fostering services, keen to find out more about the campaign and why it matters.

To help spark interest and get conversations started early, we’ve put together a national press release that you can share with the media ahead of the campaign.

We’ll also be sending out a template press release and media pack to all fostering services in the week before Foster Care Fortnight. These will be embargoed until Monday, 12 May 2025, so you’ll be ready to go when the campaign kicks off.
