The Fostering Network is the UK’s leading fostering charity. We are dedicated to creating a better future for fostered children and young people. We bring together everyone who is involved in their lives, leading, inspiring, motivating and supporting them to make foster care better. Together with our members and supporters we are a powerful catalyst for change, and we’ve been shaping and influencing the fostering agenda for more than 40 years.

We’re looking for an outstanding trainer consultant to join our Learning and Development team, to lead training delivery on core Fostering Network training and our ground-breaking Fostering Digital Skills project. You will become part of a new growing team working across the whole of the UK able to shape how we deliver training to social workers, foster carers and children’s service professionals. You will be passionate, engaging and curious about making the training experience the best it can be. You will be experienced delivering training both virtually and in person. You will have a strong experience of children’s social care, especially fostering, likely developed through a career in social work, as a foster carer, or care experience. You will have a deep understanding of legislation and guidance in at least one of the four UK nations.

As an organisation we have adopted a flexible working approach which combines home working and office based working to suit needs.  We have offices in Cardiff, Glasgow, London and Northern Ireland.
