We bring together everyone who is involved in their lives, leading, inspiring, motivating and supporting them to make foster care better. Together with our members and supporters we are a powerful catalyst for change, and we’ve been shaping and influencing the fostering agenda for more than 40 years. 

Due to our growing and successful Independent Support Service at The Fostering Network we are looking to recruit more Independent Support Workers  within England , Wales and Scotland especially from the following areas;

 

 East and South East  

 West Yorks,

 South West,

 East Midlands,

 North East

 North West

 Cumbria and

 South Wales

 Edinburgh

 Glasgow - although we welcome applicants from throughout England, Wales and Scotland.

 

The role is primarily around supporting advocating and providing professional advice and guidance for Foster Carers as they navigate their way through an allegation, cause for concern or complaint made against them.

We would also be interested in Independent Support Workers who can offer other skills for example chairing Foster Carer annual reviews or disruption meetings .
