Salary: £42,000 - £47,000 (plus LW if applicable)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Location: Hybrid working home based anywhere in UK, or office based (London, Cardiff, Belfast, Glasgow) with travel required throughout UK

About the role

Mockingbird, led by The Fostering Network in the UK, delivers sustainable foster care. This exciting programme is currently working with over sixty fostering services across England, Scotland and Wales, and is looking to grow further. Mockingbird is an evidence-based model structured around the support and relationships an extended family provides. The model nurtures the relationships between children, young people and foster families supporting them to build a resilient and caring community.  

We are seeking two new implementation managers to provide  day-to-day management  and development of the implementation and support elements of the Mockingbird programme to fostering services, and to manage, co-ordinate, support and develop the team of 8 UK-wide Mockingbird project workers.

The post holder (s) will also be required to work collaboratively across the organisation and with other teams, to share learning, and develop new programming based on learning from Mockingbird and programmes across The Fostering Network.

These roles can either be based at home or in one of our country offices located in London, Cardiff, Glasgow and Belfast but will extensive require travel and occasional overnight stays  within the UK on a regular basis.
